The Surgical Innovation Training Laboratory is seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Extra Help Medical Laboratory Assistant I to support the day-to-day operations of our laboratory. Schedule includes some weekends when events are scheduled at the laboratory.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Washing and sterilizing laboratory glassware and instruments using appropriate cleaning material.
- Operating an autoclave following established procedures.
- Receiving, stocking, and organizing laboratory materials, ordering supplies when necessary.
- Cleaning and maintaining laboratory equipment.
- Preparing laboratory areas and equipment for procedures or training activities.
- Maintaining records, logs, and documentation.
- Disposing of laboratory waste according to established protocols.
- Manage the lab's front desk paperwork, forms, reports and documentation.
- Assist with maintaining a clean and safe laboratory environment.
- Follow the indications of the Lab Manager daily.
- Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
