Required Experience
- Division I Football athletic training experience
- Working with students, coaches and administrative personnel in a broad range of medical situations
- Master’s degree in Athletic Training or related field
- Board of Certification (BOC) for the Athletic Trainer
- Eligible for State of Idaho Board of Medicine licensure as an Athletic Trainer
- Possess, or obtains within 6 months of hire, Instructors Certificate for Basic Life Support Provider (ICBLSP)
- Previous athletic training experience as a full-time/intern (non-GA) Athletic Trainer at the collegiate level, particularly having had a primary sport responsibility, including team travel
- Previous experience as a rehabilitation coordinator within a division 1 athletic department
- Previous experience in athletic training room organization and administrative duties, including Substance Abuse Testing/educational programs
- Proven ability to communicate effectively with student-athletes, coaches, staff, and medical professionals
- Demonstrated ability to work in stressful situations
- Athletic Training patient care philosophy consistent with Director of Athletic Training Services
- Proven ability to contribute to athletic training students’ educational experience, both academically and clinically
- Previous experience as an Approved Clinical Instructor (ACI) in an approved Athletic Training Education Program (ATEP)
- Previous experience with SportsWare EMR Online Solutions
- None
