Duties May Include
- Assist in the preparation and processing of purchase orders
- Collaborate with departments to clarify requisition details, resolve discrepancies, and ensure timely order placement
- Maintain organized and up-to-date procurement records
- Assist in monitoring inventory levels and stock availability
- Prepare reports and summaries of procurement activities and spending
- Other duties as assigned
- Experience in an office environment working as a part of a team
- Experience with modern computer technology, including common devices, common software applications, Windows and MacOS operating systems
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Possess a valid driver’s license and be able to meet policy requirements for driving university vehicles
- Associates or Bachelor’s Degree in an information technology/business field with a preference for a Bachelor’s
- Experience in technology support
- Experience in IT/business consulting or advanced experience in customer service
- Knowledge of purchasing, inventory management/distribution and/or enterprise desktop management
- Experience in customer service
- Demonstrated skills in listening/reading for understanding, professionalism, collaboration, advocacy, objectivity, diligence, and flexibility
- Experience utilizing critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Experience in communicating verbally and in writing
Physical Requirements & Working Conditions:
- Frequently lift, carry and/or otherwise move information technology equipment weighing up to 50 pounds indoors and outdoors
- Move between buildings
- Climb stairs and ladders
- Crawl or maneuver in confined spaces
