The Department of Medicine, Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine at the University of Connecticut is seeking applications from outstanding Board Certified/Eligible Sleep Disorders physician for .80 FTE. Appointment will be at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor. The candidate must be Board Certified or Eligible in Sleep Medicine. Additional Certification in Pulmonary Medicine and/or Critical Care Medicine is not required but will be viewed favorably. The successful candidate will see outpatients in our AASM-accredited Sleep Disorders Center, interpret sleep studies and share in educational responsibilities for the Sleep Medicine Fellowship. The individual will also play an active role in teaching medical students, residents and fellows who rotate through the outpatient offices of the Division. Additionally, .20 FTE effort will service hospitalists interested in joining an established hospitalist program. These opportunities involve inpatient and consultative care, as well as student teaching. We are looking for daytime/evening hospitalists. The work schedule is in a block schedule fashion.
