UConn Health, Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism, seeks a BC/BE Endocrinologist for a full-time faculty position at the Assistant or Associate Professor level.
Interested candidates should possess exceptional patient care and teaching skills, an interest in clinical research, and a commitment to academic endocrinology and medical student and resident education.
Duties include outpatient care of patients with a multitude of endocrine conditions in general endocrinology clinics at the main UConn Health campus and its satellite offices, as well as coverage of inpatient consultation services. Responsibilities also include teaching within the endocrinology fellowship and internal medicine residency programs.
This is an opportunity to join a well-established department of both clinical and basic science endocrinologists with a reputation for excellence in clinical care, teaching, and research. Current division clinical strengths include bone and calcium metabolism, endocrine neoplasia, and an ADA-approved diabetes education program. The academic and clinical environment offers opportunities to participate in clinical research.
