Patient Administrator

The role

The role involves the management of student patient appointments, including bookings and management of waiting lists.

What will you be doing?

• Be responsible for the patient appointment ‘lifecycle’, from registering referrals on the patient administration system, to booking appointments and managing the student patient waiting list following local booking rules and procedures.
• Be the first point of contact for patients, students, nurses, clinical and other administrative staff in relation to the coordination of clinics, management of waiting lists and booking of patients.

• You have strong computer skills , email communication ( full training will be given on specific systems

Contract type: Open ended

Work pattern: Part time

Grade: D

Salary: £24,685 - £26-093 per annum (pro rata £6,347 p.a)

School/Unit: Bristol Dental School

Shift pattern: 9 hours per week (Mon and Fri)
