To design and implement live training events for UAB educational technologies for end users within the learning management system; create learning resources that can be accessed anytime and anywhere by users; serve faculty, staff and students with confidence and ability to calm end users who may be experiencing technology-related stress; understand the most current uses of technology and awareness of current trends in online learning; possess working knowledge of trends in instructional design, media and interactive technologies.

Bachelor's degree in Instructional Technology or a related field and two (2) years of related experience required. Work experience may NOT substitute for education requirement.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Supports faculty on all institutionally supported technology tools.
- Delivers face-to-face training sessions.
- Assists in the delivery of Teaching with Technology sessions. Sets up and supports Teaching with Technology seminars.
- Resolves issues reported on features and functions in institutionally supported academic technology tools.
- Consults with individual instructors on using academic technologies to support classroom activities.
- Identifies applications to resolve instructor issues related to classroom technology use.
- Assists in identification and evaluation of emerging technologies that may be adopted by the institution to support and enhance campus learning environments.
- Assists in maintaining institutional knowledge base on technologies, practices, and programs that can be adopted and deployed to multiple domains.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
