Key Duties & Responsibilities:
- Alumni Networking & Engagement: Coordinates alumni engagement and networking opportunities, often in collaboration with UAB Alumni Affairs, that connect students with alumni for career exploration, mentoring, and professional relationship building.
- Employer Engagement & Outreach: Supports employer engagement efforts by managing employer and job activity in Handshake, conducting outreach, and connecting employers with campus recruiting and student engagement opportunities.
- Career Closet & Suit Up: Manages the Career Closet and Suit Up initiatives, including day-to-day operations, professional clothing donations, promotional efforts, and programming that expands student access to professional attire.
- Part-Time Employment & Recruiting: Promotes part-time employment as a valuable career-building experience and supports employer outreach and recruiting efforts that expand access to part-time job opportunities for students.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:

- Demonstrate strong communication, relationship-building, organization, and program coordination skills, with experience in areas such as higher education, career services, alumni or employer relations, recruiting, community engagement, or program management.
