Home Care Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Care Worker to provide quality in-home care to clients in Hartland, MI. The ideal candidate will assist clients with daily living activities, promote independence, and ensure a safe and comfortable environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Help with light housekeeping duties, meal preparation, and errands.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to clients.
• Monitor and report any changes in the client’s condition or behavior to the supervisor.
• Follow care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided.

Requirements

• Ability to communicate effectively and empathetically with clients and their families.
• Reliable transportation to and from clients’ homes.
• Be able to make it to the client home and back without an issue
• Ability to pass background checks and any required health screenings.
• Compassionate, patient, and trustworthy personality.
