Personal Support Worker

University Home Care Inc is seeking compassionate and dedicated Personal Support Workers to provide exceptional care and support to our clients in Canton, MI. As a Personal Support Worker, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals who require assistance with daily living activities and personal care.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with personal care tasks such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting.
• Support clients with mobility and transfers to ensure safety and comfort.
• Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental and emotional well-being.
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
• Help with light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment.
• Monitor clients' health and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
• Follow care plans and maintain accurate documentation of services provided.

Requirements

• Previous experience as a Personal Support Worker or in a similar care-giving role is a plus but not needed.
• Compassionate, patient, and reliable with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow instructions.
• Must be able to pass background checks.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is a plus.
• Flexibility to work various shifts based on client needs.
