Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor patient health status and communicate changes promptly to healthcare providers.
- Educate patients and families on disease management, medication, and home care techniques.
- Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals to ensure continuity and quality of care.
- Document patient care activities and maintain accurate medical records.
- Provide compassionate support and encouragement to patients and their families.
Requirements
- Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Minimum of 2 years nursing experience, preferably in home health or related settings.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable transportation and ability to travel within Monroe and surrounding areas.
- CPR/BLS certification.
