What are the responsibilities and job description for the RN Homecare On-call position at Hospice of NW Ohio?
This position responds to overnight patient care needs in our Wauseon/Henry/Fulton County service area. This individual will be on-call every other week during the hours of 11pm - 8 am and will receive compensation of $2.00/hour while on-call; one-and-a-half times hourly rate when providing patient care; night shift and weekend differentials included.
- Graduate of an accredited school of registered nursing; BSN preferred.
- Currently licensed as an RN through the Ohio Board of Nursing; must be able to obtain a license in the state of Michigan.
- Minimum 2 years of medical-surgical nursing experience preferred; previous experience in homecare, and/or hospice experience is preferred.
- Has working experience charting in an EMR system; Netsmart system preferred.
- Possesses clinical expertise related to critical thinking, assessment, problem-solving, and technical skills.
