Mesilla Valley Hospital is currently seeking a Admissions Registrar
TheAdmissionsRegistraris responsible forgreeting andassistingall visitors, answering the switchboard, and providing clerical support as requested. In addition,assistingwith various clerical duties and projects assigned to includeassistancein A&R. Those duties include completing a call sheet for each caller who is requesting services or information from our facility andadvisingA&R staff immediately. Theadmissionsrep/registraris also responsible formonitoringthecameras whichare placed in the assessment rooms and at the reception deskandwill notify A&R staffimmediatelyif questionable behavior isobservedor take appropriate action. Theregistraris responsible forobtaining patient vitals within 15 minutes of arrivalatthe facility, and alerting A&R staff if there are any concerns. Additionally, theRegistraris responsible forensuring thatthe Police Log and Belongings Log are maintained.Assistwith registering patients inpatient record and assessment software, reviewe-faxes whenclinicians areunavailable,assistwith walking patients to unit. Answer phones,complete callsheets,andenterinformationintopatientrecordsand assessment software.Assistwith intakeoptimization andmaintainbed boardsduring shift.
