UnityPoint Health – Fort Dodge provides coordinated clinic, hospital and home-based care for patients in Fort Dodge and surrounding communities. As a designated regional referral center Trinity Regional Medical Center offers a wide range of primary and secondary care services. Trinity is accredited by DNV Healthcare Inc. and has achieved Pathway to Excellence designation by the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
- Established team of physicians and advanced practitioners serving Fort Dodge and the surrounding communities
- Level IV Trauma Center, high functioning
- Emergency Medicine Physician in the department at all times
- 21 Bed Emergency Department
- ED Physician coverage 24/7
- Life Flight 24/7
- Cardiac Cath Services 24/7
- Hospitalist Program 24/7
- Radiology Services
- Support Staff: RN’s, Charge Nurse, ED Technicians, Behavioral Health Coordinator, Respiratory Therapy, CRNA, Blank Pediatric Provider & Care Coordinator
- Fully integrated system with clinics and hospitals on EPIC EMR to improve care coordination
- New fully equipped Emergency Department
- Full-time employment with benefits
- 1.0 FTE = 1,872 hours per year or 13 shifts per month
- 12-hour shifts
- 9a-9p or 1p - 1a
- 1:3 weekend rotation
- Average # of patients/day = 60
- Annual visit volume = 20,000
- Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment
- Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
- Experience preferred
- Board Certified
- Provider experience preferred; prior Emergency Medicine experience preferred
- Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS
- Hold an unrestricted medical license in the state of Iowa
- Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioners field of practice
