The Certified Pharmacy Technician is accountable for facilitating responsible provision of pharmacy services through the performance of hospital pharmacy functions, such as the preparation and delivery of medications to nursing and/or ancillary departments under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.

Responsibilities
- Prepare and delivery non-sterile medications to nursing units and ancillary departments per schedule and as needed.
- Miscellaneous - Refrigerator temps documentation, process admission, discharge and transfer labels, purge Pyxis, place Cardinal order, and tasks as directed.
- Registered with the Iowa Board of Pharmacy as a Certified Pharmacy Technician
- Ability to read, write, and speak English.
- Knowledge of the departments policies and guidelines
