Maintain project documentation for DER applications and communicate with customers. Provide support to 4-6 engineers during the impact study analysis.Principal AccountabilitiesTime %End Results20%Correspond in writing (email and letters) to customers applying to interconnect DERs on the electric distribution system. 30%Responsible for project documentation and perform data entry of customer and system information into a generator information database. Update and maintain electronic and/or paper records of all transactions involving customer DER interconnections.30%Perform system impact analysis including running automated screen analysis using Excel tables and Geometric Information System (GIS) information. 10%Complete monthly and annual reporting and assist with any additional reporting requirements.10�monstrate proficiency in engineering software applications including Microsoft Excel, electric analysis software; Develop new applications to facilitate engineering problem solving and analysis.QualificationsAssociates degree or equivalent experience requiredMethodical and detail oriented work practicesThis position requires advanced knowledge and use of Microsoft Excel and ability to quickly learn use of various databases applications and computer software packages.
