Job Description
Strategic & Operational Leadership:
- Serve as the acting Campus President or Director of Admissions during leadership transitions, leaves of absence, or vacancies.
- Maintain operational performance, staff accountability, and compliance throughout interim assignments.
- Quickly assess campus health across financial, academic, and enrollment functions, providing data-driven action plans.
- Collaborate with corporate and regional leaders to ensure short-term stability and prepare campuses for successful permanent leadership transitions.
- Ensure consistent execution of Unitek policies, compliance standards, and student experience expectations across all sites.
- Drive enrollment performance and retention strategies to maintain or exceed institutional goals.
- Oversee start readiness, show rates, and financial aid packaging timelines during coverage periods.
- Partner with Business Office and Financial Aid teams to monitor collections, A/R aging, and expense management.
- Deliver weekly and monthly performance reports to regional leadership during interim assignments.
- Provide coaching and stability to campus leadership teams during vacancies or reorganizations.
- Model Unitek’s values and leadership expectations through consistent communication, visibility, and accountability.
- Support hiring, onboarding, and training for new campus leaders; ensure smooth handoff when permanent leadership is in place.Cross-Functional Support
- Serve as a roving resource to supplement leadership capacity in other operational areas (e.g., Admissions, Student Services, Academic Operations).
- Collaborate with Workforce Solutions and EMT divisions to ensure alignment with institutional metrics and quality standards.
- Support special projects, start readiness reviews, and new program launches as assigned.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor degree in education, Business, or related field (required); Master’s preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of leadership experience in higher education campus operations, including admissions, finance, and academic administration.
- Proven success managing multiple sites or large teams across states or regions.
- Demonstrated ability to rapidly assess operations and implement turnaround or stabilization strategies.
- Strong knowledge of Title IV, accreditation, and state regulatory compliance.
- Experience supporting nursing, allied health, or vocational education preferred.
