United Staffing Associates is recruiting an HR Generalist on behalf of a licensed Adult Residential Care Facility that provides direct care services to high-risk developmentally disabled adults. Our client is seeking an experienced and adaptable human resources professional to support the organization’s continued growth and day-to-day HR operations. Working closely with the ownership team, you will assist in overseeing the company’s HR functions, including employee relations, recruitment, policy administration, training, compliance, and organizational development. This position plays an important role in supporting both operational objectives and a positive workplace culture.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the full cycle recruitment processes from hiring to termination.
- Provide employee onboarding and organizational training and development.
- Support staff with various HR-related topics and issues.
- Promote HR programs to create an efficient and conflict-free workplace.
- Assist in development and implementation of human resource policies and updated Handbook.
- Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, such as employee turnover rates, etc.
- Prepare and organize employee performance reviews.
- Maintain employee files and records in both electronic and paper form.
- Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits and organizing team building activities.
- Ensure compliance with labor regulations.
- Develop and monitor Injury prevention and safety plan.
- Assist with Benefits Administration.
Requirements:
- Associate’s degree required. Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- At least 3 years of administrative experience in an office setting.
- At least 3 years of human resources experience, preferably in the medical field.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly and consistently both verbally and in writing in English.
- Multitasking abilities with strong critical thinking skills.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment under pressure.
- Ability to utilize discretion with confidential information.
Hiring Method: Temp-to-Hire or Direct Hire
Compensation & Benefits:
- $25.00 to $28.00/hour DOE
