CNC HAAS Machinist - Programmer
United Staffing Associates is partnering with a local machine shop to find an experienced CNC Machinist - Programmer to join their team. This is a hands-on, solutions-focused role in a small job shop environment where you will receive customer drawings and be responsible for producing finished, custom components from start to finish.
What You’ll Do
- Work on small, customized machining projects for a variety of clients
- Interpret drawings and independently complete machining from setup to finished product
- Handle low-volume, quick-turnaround work in a fast-paced shop environment
- Serve as a “solutions machinist” responsible for end-to-end job completion
Required Experience & Skills
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a general machinist in a tool room / job shop environment
- Strong ability to take a print/drawing and produce a finished part independently
- Experience with HAAS CNC machines (program, setup, and run)
- Proficiency with Fusion 360 for CAD/CAM programming (cloud-based design, modeling, simulation, and manufacturing workflows)
- Experience operating conventional mill and conventional lathe
- Familiarity with ProtoTRAK CNC systems (conversational programming and machine retrofit systems)
Nice to Have
- Welding and fabrication skills (helpful but not required)
Schedule
- Monday–Thursday
- 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- 4–10 hour shifts depending on workload
- Full-time position

Compensation
$25.00 to $36.00/hour DOE
