  • Manage maintenance vendors, contractors, service providers, warranty claims, recalls, and applicable insurance claims.
  • Track maintenance performance, equipment reliability, regulatory compliance, costs, and other key performance indicators.
  • Develop emergency-response and business-continuity plans for equipment failures, fleet emergencies, facility disruptions, and utility outages.
  • Promote compliance with company safety programs, including lockout/tagout, machine guarding, electrical safety, hot work, confined-space entry, fall protection, and PPE requirements.
  • Support incident investigations, root-cause analyses, corrective actions, and risk-reduction initiatives.
  • Present maintenance performance, budgets, capital plans, operational risks, and improvement recommendations to senior leadership.
  • Partner with Operations, Production, Engineering, Purchasing, Inventory Control, Field Service, EHS, Quality, Finance, and Human Resources.

  • Experience managing maintenance personnel, contractors, vendors, regulatory compliance, and capital-improvement projects.
  • Strong knowledge of equipment reliability, asset management, lifecycle planning, and preventive and predictive maintenance principles.
  • Familiarity with applicable fleet and workplace regulations, including CHP BIT, FMCSA, California DMV, DOT, CARB, and Cal/OSHA requirements.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, engineering drawings, contracts, budgets, inspection reports, and regulatory documentation.
  • Proficiency with computerized maintenance management systems, fleet-management systems, Microsoft Office, spreadsheets, and reporting tools.
