We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Automation Engineer to support automation and control systems within a GMP-regulated pharmaceutical manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with DeltaV, PLC, SCADA, HMI systems, troubleshooting, commissioning, and process automation support for manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for automated manufacturing and packaging equipment
- Design, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain DeltaV, PLC, HMI, and SCADA systems
- Support system integration, upgrades, commissioning, and startup activities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Manufacturing, Validation, Quality, and Engineering
- Perform root cause analysis for automation-related issues and implement corrective actions
- Support change controls, deviations, CAPA, and validation documentation activities
- Ensure all automation activities comply with GMP, FDA, and company standards
- Assist with preventive maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelorโs degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Engineering, or related field
- 5 years of experience in automation engineering within Pharma, Biotech, or Medical Devices industry
- Strong experience with DeltaV, Allen Bradley PLC, Siemens PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems
- Experience supporting GMP manufacturing environments
- Knowledge of commissioning, qualification, and validation processes
- Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills
