What are the responsibilities and job description for the PLC Engineer position at United Pharma?
We are seeking a PLC Engineer with experience in Life Sciences / Pharmaceutical Manufacturing to support automation and control system initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, program, and troubleshoot PLC systems in GMP environments
- Support integration with SCADA/DCS and manufacturing systems
- Collaborate with engineering, QA, and operations teams
- Participate in commissioning, validation, and system upgrades
- Ensure compliance with GMP and regulatory standards
Required Experience:
- Hands-on PLC programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar)
- Experience in Life Sciences / Pharma manufacturing environments
- Knowledge of SCADA, DCS, and automation systems
- Understanding of GMP, validation, and compliance processes
Preferred:
- Experience with DeltaV or other DCS platforms
- Exposure to MES systems and integration
- Strong troubleshooting and communication skills
