Job Title: Senior Project Manager – SCADA / Automation

Overview
We are looking for a Senior Project Manager with strong expertise in SCADA and industrial automation to support a leading biopharmaceutical manufacturing client in Bend, Oregon. This role will oversee automation-driven projects in a GMP-regulated environment, ensuring successful delivery of system implementations, upgrades, and integrations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end project execution for SCADA, automation, and control systems
- Manage project scope, timelines, budget, and risk mitigation strategies
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including automation, IT, validation, and operations
- Oversee system implementation, upgrades, and lifecycle management
- Ensure compliance with GxP, FDA, and data integrity standards
- Coordinate with vendors and manage system integration activities
- Provide regular project updates to stakeholders and leadership
- Support commissioning, qualification, and validation (CQV) activities related to automation systems
Required Qualifications
- 10 years of project management experience in life sciences or regulated industries
- Strong background in SCADA systems, PLCs, DCS, and industrial automation
- Proven experience managing automation and system integration projects
- Solid understanding of GMP environments and regulatory requirements
- Experience in biotech, pharmaceutical, or biologics manufacturing
- Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Preferred Qualifications
- PMP certification is highly preferred
- Experience supporting CQV activities for automation systems
- Familiarity with platforms such as DeltaV, Rockwell, Siemens, or similar
- Knowledge of data integrity principles and 21 CFR Part 11 compliance
