Key Responsibilities:
- Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including:
- Bathing, grooming, dressing
- Toileting and incontinence care
- Mobility and transfers
- Cooking/Feeding/Meal Preparation
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding as needed
- Perform light housekeeping (laundry, dishes, tidying) as needed
- Assist with medication reminders
- Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or social outings (if applicable)
- Observe and report any changes in physical, mental, or emotional condition to the supervisor
- Maintain accurate care records and follow care plans
- Participate in all required orientation, training, competency and in-service programs as scheduled ad necessary per Agency policy
Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous caregiving experience preferred, not required
- Ability to pass a background check
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift up to 25–50 lbs, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods
- Proof of prior and /or current flu immunization
- Bilingual Spanish-Speaking
