Key Responsibilities
- Greet residents, families, and visitors with professionalism and hospitality.
- Answer and direct incoming calls and inquiries.
- Coordinate non-clinical resident services such as meal delivery, appointment reminders, and activity sign-ups.
- Communicate with internal departments to ensure timely service delivery.
- Provide facility information, directions, and event updates.
- Support administrative tasks including data entry, document preparation, and visitor logs.
- Assist with admissions, discharges, welcome packets, and resident orientation.
- Maintain confidentiality and security in accordance with HIPAA and facility policies.
Ensure the front desk and lobby areas are clean, organized, and welcoming.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of customer service, hospitality, or healthcare experience (senior living or long-term care preferred).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and standard office equipment.
- Ability to work collaboratively and sensitively with diverse populations.
- NYS Security Guard license preferred.
Physical Demands
- Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods.
- Frequent reaching, bending, twisting, and stooping.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds occasionally (e.g., packages, welcome materials).
- Manual dexterity to operate phones, computers, and printers.
- Clear speech and hearing required in a busy environment.
Environmental Conditions
- Indoor, climate-controlled setting.
- Exposure to interruptions, noise, and emotionally sensitive situations.
- Occasional contact with residents with communicable conditions (standard infection control procedures apply).
- PPE may be required in certain situations.
We are seeking a warm, professional, and service-oriented Concierge to serve as the first point of contact for residents, families, staff, and visitors. The Concierge plays a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere and coordinating non-clinical services that enhance the resident and guest experience.
