Warehouse Associate
We’re looking for a Warehouse Associate to support the movement, traceability, and integrity of aerospace fastener inventory. In this dynamic role, you’ll work across multiple warehouse functions—receiving, inventory control, kitting, picking, packing, and shipping—ensuring materials are handled, documented, and transferred accurately. You’ll operate in an AS9100-compliant environment, maintaining product quality, traceability, and on-time delivery while supporting workflow efficiency and customer commitments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operational Flexibility: Rotate across receiving, inventory, kitting, picking, packing, and shipping based on workload and production flow.
- Receiving: Verify incoming materials, inspect packaging, check documentation (COCs, certifications), and record items accurately in ERP systems. Escalate discrepancies, damaged goods, or missing certifications.
- Inventory Control: Perform put-away transactions, maintain lot traceability, conduct cycle counts, investigate discrepancies, and keep storage areas organized.
- Kitting: Assemble kits according to work orders, verify part numbers and quantities, ensure traceability, and package properly to prevent damage.
- Pick, Pack, & Shipping: Accurately pick materials, package according to standards, prepare shipments with documentation (BOL, ASN, invoices), and coordinate with carriers.
- Documentation & Compliance: Record transactions in ERP, maintain traceability, follow quality procedures, and support audits and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while following all company safety standards.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1 year warehouse or similar operational experience; aerospace distribution a plus.
- Basic computer and data entry skills; familiarity with ERP systems preferred.
- Knowledge of warehouse processes, inventory control, and material handling.
- Ability to follow procedures, document accurately, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Reliable, organized, adaptable, and a team player.
- Forklift certification is a plus.
