Shipping and Receiving Associate

ssential Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate a sit-down forklift to transport aircraft parts and aerospace materials throughout the warehouse and production areas.
• Receive incoming shipments and verify quantities, part numbers, serial numbers, and condition of materials.
• Prepare outgoing shipments by packaging, labeling, and staging products for shipment.
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently.
• Maintain inventory accuracy by performing cycle counts and updating inventory records.
• Ensure proper handling and storage of sensitive aerospace components.
• Utilize scanners, shipping software, or ERP systems to track inventory movement.
• Inspect shipments for damage and report discrepancies immediately.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
• Follow all company safety policies and aerospace quality standards.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of Shipping & Receiving experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment.
• Current Forklift Certification required.
• Experience operating a sit-down forklift is required.
• Experience handling large, heavy, or high-value materials preferred.
• Aerospace or manufacturing experience is highly preferred.
• Ability to read packing slips, bills of lading, shipping labels, and inventory documentation.
• Basic computer skills and experience with inventory management systems.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand, bend, and walk throughout the shift.
