Payroll Coordinator – Heavy Data Entry Focus
Location: Rancho Cucamonga, CA (In-Person)
Reports to: President/CEO
Job Type: Full-time- Internal Position
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
Summary:
United Employment Solutions is seeking a highly detail-oriented and experienced Payroll Specialist with a strong background in high-volume data entry. This role requires exceptional accuracy, speed, and consistency in entering and managing payroll data. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working with large amounts of data on a daily basis and must have prior experience in payroll processing, data validation, and administrative support.
This position involves a significant amount of data entry work, and we are seeking an individual who is highly experienced, efficient, and confident in their data entry skills.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Perform high-volume payroll data entry with accuracy and speed.
- Maintain payroll records by directing the collection, calculation, and input of data.
- Update payroll information by entering and reviewing changes in pay rates, hours, deductions, and department transfers.
- Process and audit weekly payroll to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Coordinate and issue paychecks or electronic deposits.
- Respond to and resolve payroll discrepancies and missing data on time.
- Track and enter employee time off, loans, and adjustments.
- Generate and submit invoices; process and distribute checks.
- Compile and submit payroll reports for internal and client use.
- Perform routine audits and checks on payroll data to ensure consistency.
- Sort and prepare payroll checks by client for delivery or mailing.
- Respond to all payroll-related emails and client inquiries promptly.
- Assist in unemployment claim responses and wage garnishments.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in high-volume data entry (payroll-specific preferred).
- High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred or equivalent relevant experience.
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, including formulas and data manipulation.
- Strong math, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Prior experience in payroll processing required (manual payroll preferred).
- Knowledge of wage and hour laws and general payroll practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus, but not required.

Schedule:
- Full-time, Monday to Friday

Work Location: In-person at our Rancho Cucamonga office
Commute/Relocation: Must reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting
