Job Title : DeltaV Automation Engineer
Location : Washington dc
Must-Have Qualifications:
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience with Emerson DeltaV DCS.
• Background working in cGMP pharmaceutical environments with strong understanding of FDA regulations.
• Working knowledge of Kneat validation software.
• Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate across cross-functional teams and communicate with leadership.
• Experience in Drug Substance Manufacturing (DSM).
• Familiarity with systems such as MasterControl, ComplianceWire, TrackWise, and Veeva.
Key Responsibilities:
• Participate in regular project status meetings with Automation Engineers and the System Integrator.
• Join weekly DSM Automation Huddle meetings to provide updates and represent downstream automation activities.
• Review and contribute to automation design requirements across one or more downstream process areas.
• Provide feedback during System Integrator functional reviews for designated process areas.
• Review lifecycle documentation and ensure compliance with automation standards and procedures.
• Review and approve Kneat documents including DeltaV software FATs, SATs, commissioning protocols, OQs, and installation verification protocols.
• Support the development and execution of validation documentation in Kneat.
• Oversee the System Integrator’s execution of loop checks and commissioning activities for assigned downstream systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional project teams, including Automation, CSV, CQV, Utilities, and Process Engineering, to ensure alignment and successful project delivery.
