Position: Project Engineers (x2)
Location: Bloomington, Indiana – 100% onsite
Job Description: Our pharmaceutical client is looking for two Project Engineers with Packaging Backgrounds to assist with new packaging equipment coming into the facility and upgrading existing equipment. This person will be responsible for installing new Cappers, Change Parts (wheels, guide rails, and timing screws) for Bottle Unscramblers, modifying existing equipment (i.e actual location in-house). The Project Engineers may also be responsible for Design and Development of new package designs, prototypes, and technical specifications using CAD software (SolidWorks or Creo is fine). The typical day-to-day for the Project Engineers will be meeting with engineering team for production reports, coordinating with vendor contractors for equipment maintenance, and performing on-the-floor duties. Pharmaceutical packaging background is highly preferred, but food packaging will suffice.
Skills: Pharmaceutical, Packaging Background, Troubleshoot/Improve/Streamlining Packaging Equipment, Packaging Design in CAD Software ( ) Education: Bachelor’s degree in chemical/mechanical/electrical engineering or appropriate scientific discipline, technical or associate degree is acceptable with experience. OSHA 10 or equivalent a plus. 5 years of Project Engineering related experience. 2 years in a regulated industry (Life Sciences preferred), but food and beverage could be considered.
