Are you organized, detail-oriented, and love keeping things running smoothly behind the scenes? We're looking for a Medical Records Specialist to join our amazing team! If you're passionate about accuracy, teamwork, and helping provide exceptional care to our residents, we'd love to meet you!
✨ What You'll Do
Maintain and organize resident medical records
Ensure charts are accurate, complete, and compliant with state and federal regulations
Enter and update resident information in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Communicate with physicians, hospitals, families, and staff regarding medical record requests
Protect resident confidentiality and HIPAA compliance at all times
Prepare records for admissions, discharges, audits, and surveys
Work closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure excellent resident care
What We're Looking For
✅ Previous medical records or healthcare office experience preferred
✅ Knowledge of medical terminology and HIPAA regulations is a plus
✅ Strong computer and organizational skills
✅ Excellent attention to detail and time management
✅ Friendly, professional attitude with outstanding communication skills
✅ Ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment
