The Capital Markets Analyst I supports mortgage loan sale execution and securitization activities for conventional and government loans. This role assists with loan sales to Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac and supports the securitization of Ginnie Mae loans. The position focuses on data accuracy, reporting, transaction support, and learning capital markets operations while working closely with secondary marketing, lock desk, finance, and operations teams.

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist with the preparation and execution of mortgage loan sales and securitization
- Support loan delivery processes including commitment tracking, file allocation, and delivery timelines
- Review loan‑level data to ensure eligibility and accuracy prior to investor delivery
- Assist with trade confirmations, settlement tracking, and post‑delivery reconciliation
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports related to: Loan sales activity, pipeline composition, and investor delivery status
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field (preferred)
- 0–2 years of experience in mortgage banking, secondary marketing, finance, or analytics
- Internship or coursework in finance or capital markets a plus
SKILLS REQUIRED
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy
- Proficient in Excel, or related analytical applications
- Analytical mindset with ability to learn financial concepts
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in deadline‑driven environment
