At Unified Doors & Hardware Group (UDHG), we are looking for a skilled and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our team. Responsibilities and Qualifications:
Key Responsibilities
- Forklift Operation & Maintenance
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently
- Perform routine maintenance and refueling of forklifts
- Ensure proper storage of fuel tanks
- Maintain daily forklift inspection logs
Order Fulfillment & Warehouse Support
- Read and interpret pick and pack tickets for accurate order fulfillment
- Assist with general shipping and receiving duties when not operating forklifts
- Ensure equipment use and material handling meet safety standards
Safety
- Adheres to all driving regulations based on state and/or jurisdiction policies such as wearing a seatbelt
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment
- Follow all safety protocols and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) requirements to maintain a safe working environment
- Use proper lifting techniques
- Wear appropriate personal protective equipment, safety shoes and clothing
Physical Job Requirements
- Frequent use of hands and arms for equipment operation, grasping and manipulation
- Frequent driving or sitting in a truck, forklift or other similar equipment for multiple hours a day
- Frequent pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying building materials weighing approximately 100 pounds, using proper lifting procedures; and occasionally pushing, pulling, lifting or carrying greater weights. Pushing and pulling carts loaded carts over various distances and surfaces. Some functions may be performed as a team
- Additional physical requirements may be needed as duties are assigned

- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience working as a certified forklift operator
- Ability to read shipping documents, pick and pack slips
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to producing high-quality work
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team

Compensation
The listed pay range reflects the expected base rate for this position; actual compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and cost of living in the assigned market. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
- Base: $ 18-22 per hour
