Shift: Mon–Fri, 8 AM–5 PM
Duration: 9 months contract with possible extension/temp-to-perm based on performance and openings
Required Skills
- Recent Master’s graduate in Microbiology, Biology, or Biotechnology
- Digital literacy with exposure to basic AI/ML tools
- Knowledge of microbiology, contamination control, aseptic/low-bioburden practices
- Familiarity with environmental monitoring, swab/rinse sampling, TOC, and rapid analytical techniques
- Strong documentation, attention to detail, and data integrity mindset
Job Summary
Entry-level MS&T role supporting microbiological control, cleaning validation, contamination control, and TOC-based cleanliness verification in pharmaceutical manufacturing. Focus on sampling, documentation, investigations, risk assessments, and GMP compliance under guidance of MS&T scientists and engineers.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform swab/rinse sampling and environmental monitoring
- Execute cleaning validation and TOC verification protocols
- Apply aseptic and low-bioburden techniques during sampling
- Support validation, PPQ, investigations, deviations, and CAPAs
- Assist with microbial/chemical risk assessments
- Maintain GMP-compliant documentation and ALCOA data integrity
- Collaborate with QA, QC, Engineering, Manufacturing, and MS&T teams
Preferred Experience
- Internship, academic research, or co-op experience in microbiology/GMP environments preferred
- Exposure to pharma manufacturing, validation, quality, or lab operations is a plus
