Position Overview
The Audiovisual and Interpretive Technology Supervisor designs, builds, and maintains
technology systems across Metroparks, including standard audio-visual systems
(Crestron, QSC), mobile applications, touch screen interpretive, video/multimedia exhibits, 3D
and extended reality systems (AR/VR), electronic exhibits, and audio-visual systems

Education and Experience
Experience in digital arts/media, game design, programming, or related field. Experience with
digital media production, 3D modeling software, Adobe Creative Suite, A/V systems, application
development; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which
provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.
Credentials, Licenses, and Certifications
Must possess and maintain a valid driver’s license under the laws of the State of Ohio.
Other Qualifications
and ability to analyze diverse facts and develop clear and concise reports and
recommendations.

What You Will Be Doing
Evaluation of this position is based primarily on the performance of the following essential
Functions, Which Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Regular and predictable attendance is expected and required. All Metroparks
and/or holidays as required.
- Manages new interpretive system design and implementation. Meets with internal clients or
audiovisual systems; researches products and solutions; prepares quotes / purchasing
paperwork; installs, programs, and trains end-users on the system.
- Evaluates and collaborates with outside contractors to design, build, and install products,
- Performs digital content production services, including the development and maintenance of
photographic media; utilizes computer systems to manipulate, edit, and master digital
products.
- Develops and maintains mobile applications. Meets with internal clients for planning; writes
- Performs maintenance and troubleshooting on existing exhibit and audio-visual systems.
- Manages and operates the BrightSign Digital Signage network.
- Manages and operates the Dante Audio system at Metroparks Zoo.
Education and Experience
Experience in digital arts/media, game design, programming, or related field. Experience with
digital media production, 3D modeling software, Adobe Creative Suite, A/V systems, application
development; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience which
provides the requisite knowledge, skills, and abilities for this job.

- Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with stakeholders, including

- Will work with room audio-visual systems or audio-visual exhibits to maintain said systems

- Knowledge of BrightSign and/or Dante a plus
- Proficiency in software programs including all Microsoft Office programs, Blender, Unity,
- Knowledge of automation systems (Crestron, QSC)
- Mature professional attitude and considerable discretion, including the ability to manage
- Ability to track metrics and performance of exhibits/content for audiences.
