Job Summary:
The Blending Operator is responsible for safely and accurately blending pharmaceutical materials in compliance with cGMP regulations, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and safety requirements. This role supports high-quality production by operating blending equipment, following documented processes, and maintaining a clean and controlled manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate pharmaceutical blending equipment according to approved batch records and SOPs
- Weigh, measure, and load raw materials accurately into blenders
- Follow current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP) at all times
- Wear and properly use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Perform equipment setup, operation, and basic cleaning/sanitization
- Complete production documentation clearly, accurately, and in real time
- Monitor blending processes and report any deviations or issues to supervision
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Support quality, safety, and compliance audits as needed
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Experience in pharmaceutical, chemical, or manufacturing environments preferred
- Knowledge of cGMP, SOPs, and safety procedures
- Ability to follow detailed written and verbal instructions
- Ability to lift materials and stand for extended periods
Work Environment:
- Pharmaceutical manufacturing setting
- PPE required (gowns, gloves, masks, etc.)
- Second shift schedule: 3:30 PM – 11:30 PM
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.53 - $22.55 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
