Position Summary
We are seeking an energetic, detail-oriented Warehouse Manager to oversee daily distribution, manage inventory precision, and maintain a safe, efficient facility. In this role, you will lead warehouse staff, optimize workflows, and drive operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Distribution & Logistics: Direct all shipping and receiving operations to ensure accurate, on-time processing. Coordinate seamlessly with internal teams and 3PL partners.
- Inventory Control: Maintain stock accuracy and optimal inventory levels using WMS platforms (e.g., AS400).
- Team Leadership: Supervise, mentor, and develop warehouse staff while fostering a collaborative, highly motivated culture.
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce OSHA standards, maintain safety protocols, and ensure safe operation of forklifts and mechanical equipment.
- Process Optimization: Identify and implement efficiency improvements across materials handling and logistics workflows.
Qualifications
- Experience: Proven supervisory or managerial experience in a fast-paced warehouse or distribution environment (E-commerce or 3PL experience preferred).
- Systems Knowledge: Hands-on experience with Warehouse Management Systems (AS400 or similar WMS).
- Skills & Certifications: Valid forklift certification and solid mechanical aptitude for heavy lifting and equipment operation.
- Safety & Standards: Strong working knowledge of OSHA safety guidelines and materials handling best practices.
- Leadership: Excellent communication and team-building skills.
