Better Brands Inc. is a rapidly growing food manufacturer producing frozen, ready-to-eat meals for schools, retail, foodservice, and institutional customers across the United States. As we continue to expand, we're looking for an experienced Warehouse Operations Manager to lead our warehouse team and help drive operational excellence.
This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for inventory management, shipping and receiving, warehouse organization, team leadership, and supporting production. We're looking for someone who leads by example, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves when needed.
Responsibilities
- Lead all warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory, storage, and organization.
- Supervise, coach, and develop the warehouse team while maintaining high performance and accountability.
- Ensure accurate inventory through cycle counts, audits, and FIFO inventory practices.
- Coordinate daily warehouse activities with Production, Purchasing, Quality, and Logistics.
- Maintain organized dry storage, refrigerated, and freezer warehouse areas.
- Ensure all shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation is completed accurately and on time.
- Support production by ensuring raw materials and finished goods are available when needed.
- Identify opportunities to improve warehouse efficiency, organization, and overall operations.
- Assist with warehouse operations as needed, including loading, unloading, palletizing, and staging product.
Qualifications
- 5 years of warehouse leadership experience required.
- Manufacturing experience required; food manufacturing preferred.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management, warehouse operations, and FIFO.
- Experience leading teams in a fast-paced environment.
- Microsoft Office proficiency required.
- ERP or inventory management system experience preferred.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) highly preferred/ required.
Schedule
Monday–Thursday: 8:00 AM–8:00 PM (based on warehouse and operational needs - subject to change)
Friday: 8:00 AM–2:00 PM (based on warehouse and operational needs - subject to change)
This position requires flexibility. Extended hours, additional weekday hours, and occasional Sunday work may be required based on production schedules, inventory, shipping demands, or other operational needs.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly and heavier items with assistance.
- Ability to work in refrigerated and freezer environments.
