Duties

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, spirits, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair
• Engage with guests to understand their preferences and recommend drinks to enhance their experience
• Manage bar inventory, restock supplies, and ensure all beverages are stored properly according to food safety standards
• Process cash transactions accurately using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, handling cash and credit payments seamlessly
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to health and safety regulations at all times
• Develop new beverage recipes and contribute to menu updates that reflect current trends and guest preferences
• Collaborate with kitchen staff and management to ensure smooth service flow during busy hours
• Uphold excellent customer service standards by creating a welcoming atmosphere for all guests

Experience

• Proven experience as a bartender in fine dining or upscale hospitality settings preferred
• Strong knowledge of mixology techniques, spirits, wine varieties, craft beers, and beverage recipe development
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for processing transactions efficiently
• Previous food service experience with an emphasis on customer engagement and service excellence
• Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively through excellent time management skills during high-volume periods
• Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper handling of alcohol in compliance with licensing laws
• Experience in bar management or supervising bar staff is a plus but not required
• Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math understanding, and accurate order processing
