Who you’ll care for
Residents in Bristol Glen’s skilled nursing and rehab center who are recovering from surgery, illness, or injury and working to get home or regain their independence.
What You'll Do
- Carry out individualized therapy programs under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist to support resident recovery and wellness
- Lead residents through therapeutic activities designed to improve strength, balance, mobility, and overall function
- Assist residents in working toward greater independence with daily activities and movement goals
- Observe resident performance and communicate progress, concerns, and outcomes to the Physical Therapist
- Provide encouragement and support that helps residents stay engaged and motivated throughout their therapy journey
- Complete accurate and timely documentation in accordance with facility standards and regulatory guidelines
What You'll Need
Required:
- Active Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) license in New Jersey
- Graduate of an accredited physical therapy assistant program
- 2 years of experience as a PTA
Preferred:
- Experience in a skilled nursing, rehab, or continuing care community
Pay and Benefits
- $40.00 per hour, guaranteed rate
- This is a per diem position.
