Job Description
Dynamic Rehab Physical Therapy is seeking a motivated Licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our privately owned outpatient orthopedic practice in Somerset, NJ.
Experienced PTAs and new graduates are both welcome to apply.
Our practice focuses on hands-on orthopedic rehabilitation and the treatment of patients with acute and chronic musculoskeletal pain. Manual therapy is an important part of what we do because many of our patients present with muscle tightness, trigger points, restricted mobility, tendon irritation, joint pain, and other orthopedic conditions that benefit from a combination of hands-on treatment, therapeutic exercise, and patient education.
Prior manual therapy experience is preferred, but not required. We are willing to train the right candidate in appropriate manual therapy techniques.

Responsibilities
- Perform appropriate manual therapy techniques
- Utilize soft tissue mobilization, myofascial techniques, trigger point techniques, stretching, and other appropriate hands-on interventions
- Implement therapeutic exercise and orthopedic rehabilitation programs
- Assist patients with improving mobility, strength, flexibility, function, and tolerance for daily activities
- Educate patients regarding exercises, body mechanics, posture, and home programs
- Communicate patient progress and treatment response to the supervising Physical Therapist
Requirements
- Active or eligible New Jersey Physical Therapist Assistant license
- New graduates are encouraged to apply
- Interest in learning and developing strong manual therapy skills
- Outpatient orthopedic experience preferred but not required
- Comfortable working with patients experiencing back pain, neck pain, joint pain, muscle strains, tendonitis, bursitis, and other orthopedic conditions
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Dependable, professional, motivated, and eager to learn
- Commitment to providing individualized, patient-centered care
