Key Responsibilities
- Review software development lifecycle artifacts to ensure compliance with DO-178B/C standards.
- Prepare, review, and maintain certification documentation for aerospace software programs.
- Support certification activities throughout the software development and verification lifecycle.
- Participate in technical reviews, audits, and regulatory assessments.
- Analyze certification issues and work with engineering teams to resolve compliance gaps.
- Ensure software requirements, design documents, test procedures, and verification results meet certification standards.
- Support Stage of Involvement (SOI) reviews and customer certification activities.
- Maintain complete traceability between requirements, design, code, and testing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to aerospace quality processes.
- Contribute to continuous process improvements and documentation quality.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or another STEM discipline.
- Experience working with DO-178B or DO-178C software certification standards.
- Knowledge of software development and verification processes for safety-critical embedded systems.
- Experience reviewing certification documents and compliance artifacts.
- Understanding of software requirements traceability and verification methodologies.
- Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Salary : $85,000 - $90,000
