What are the responsibilities and job description for the System Administrator III position at Ultimate Staffing?
Summary:
Senior technical resource responsible for complex troubleshooting, infrastructure administration, project execution, and advanced configuration of client environments.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct advanced root-cause analysis and resolve issues escalated from System Administrator II
- Provide tenant-level M365 expertise including advanced mail routing, SharePoint site structure, conditional access policy troubleshooting, security configuration, and advanced Defender investigations
- Comfortable working with DNS (internal and external), MX records and SSL certs
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable supporting infrastructure wide Layer 2 and 3 networking
- Comfortable deploying networking infrastructure (Firewall, Access points, switches)
- Develop and maintain scripting-based automation for RMM tasks and onboarding/offboarding workflows
- Lead small to medium-sized client projects including migrations, network refreshes, and server-to-cloud transitions
- Document advanced processes and provide internal training for System Administrator I and II personnel
- Participate in scoping discussions with account management to support solution design
Relevant Certifications:
Microsoft 365 Security Administrator (SC-300), Microsoft 365 Enterprise Administrator Expert, CompTIA Security , Ubiquiti UEWA/UBWA, Meraki advanced certifications.
