Junior Accountant

Ultimate Staffing is actively seeking a Junior Accountant to join their client's vibrant team in Hartford County Connecticut. This is an excellent opportunity for a detail-oriented individual to develop their accounting skills in a supportive environment. The Junior Accountant will play a key role in supporting the finance team and ensuring the accuracy of financial records.

• Assist in preparing financial statements and reports.
• Reconcile bank statements and track financial transactions.
• Maintain accurate records of accounts payable and receivable.
• Assist in processing invoices and tracking payments.
• Support the senior accounting team with audits and other financial projects.
• Help manage the general ledger and ensure all financial data is up-to-date.
• Participate in month-end and year-end close processes.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Provide administrative support to the finance department as needed.
  
  

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3 years of accounting experience preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
