About the Role
We're looking for a Corporate Trainer to join our Bank Operations Processing Center in Newark, DE. This role is all about training people to succeed in a fast-paced, metrics-driven, highly regulated environment where accuracy and productivity matter.
You'll design, build, and deliver training programs that help employees hit performance goals while staying compliant with policies and regulations. You'll work closely with leadership, operations, and trainers to keep learning programs practical, engaging, and aligned with how the work actually gets done.
This is a fully onsite, hands-on role supporting high-volume application processing teams.
What You'll Be Doing
- Design and deliver training programs that prepare employees to meet high-volume KPIs in a regulated operations environment.
- Review training materials and make improvements based on performance data, assessments, and trainee feedback.
- Partner with senior leaders to update training content and ensure it aligns with business needs and compliance requirements.
- Create and maintain clear training plans, timelines, and status updates-keeping leaders informed of progress, risks, and dependencies.
- Monitor the performance of trainers and trainees using assessments and job-readiness evaluations.
- Identify skill gaps and make targeted updates to training programs to improve speed, quality, and confidence on the job.
- Manage the rollout of all training initiatives, making sure employees are trained on systems, workflows, policies, and best practices.
- Use adult learning principles to keep training engaging and accessible for different learning styles and experience levels.
- Continuously evaluate training tools and delivery methods and make improvements to drive better results.
- Work closely with department leaders to identify training needs and support operational and regulatory goals.
- Maintain accurate training records, metrics, and reporting to support performance tracking and compliance.
What We're Looking For
- 5 years of experience in corporate training, learning & development, or a similar role.
- Experience in banking, financial services, or another regulated environment is strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to train employees working in high-volume, performance-driven operations.
- Comfortable managing multiple training programs at once.
- Experience creating training materials, assessments, and performance metrics.
- Strong communication and facilitation skills-you can explain complex processes in a clear, practical way.
- Ability to work well with leadership and influence across teams.
- Experience using learning management systems (LMS) and training tools.
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education, Business, or a related field required.
- Training or HR certifications (ATD, CPTD, SHRM, etc.) a plus, but not required.
