What are the responsibilities and job description for the Certified Payroll Administrator position at Ultimate Staffing?
A leading construction firm in the Heights area of Houston, TX is seeking a Payroll Administrator with experience in certified payroll to join their team. This is an excellent opportunity with an amazing work culture, competitive compensation and benefits, as well as room for growth. This is an in-office position, Monday - Friday, 8a - 5p. Starting compensation $26-$28/hour depending on experience.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years' experience in certified payroll
- Highly prefer experience with LCP Tracker, eMars, B2GNow and/or other certified payroll/compliance portals
Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support for prevailing wage and certified payroll projects, including City of Houston work.
- Enter and manage certified payroll data in systems such as B2GNow, LCPTracker, and eMars.
- Prepare and submit weekly certified payroll reports and required contract documentation.
- Coordinate with Operations and General Contractors on wage determinations, employee forms, and reporting accuracy.
- Review, correct, and resubmit rejected prevailing wage reports as needed.
