Position Overview
Our Beaumont CLIENT is seeking a professional and motivated Account Manager to oversee daily operations and support our delinquent tax collections program. This role does not involve direct staff supervision but requires strong leadership in managing program activities and ensuring compliance with established procedures.
Key responsibilities include:
- Reviewing delinquent tax rolls
- Coordinating mailings and ordering titles
- Monitoring collection workflows
- Working directly with taxpayers to establish and manage payment agreements
- Collaborating with legal counsel to support departmental goals
- Serving as a liaison to the Tax Assessor-Collector, Tax Office, Sheriff's Department, and District Clerk's Office
Qualifications
Required:
- 1-3 years working with County Tax Offices
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively
- Sound judgment and confidentiality in handling sensitive information
- Self-motivated and able to work independently
- Flexible and adaptable
Preferred:
- Experience in government, legal, or tax office environments
- Account Management or Project Management
- Familiarity with databases, records management software, or collections systems
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Additional Information
- This position requires 25% driving
- A valid driver's license and clean driving record are required (MVR background check will be conducted)
