Pharmacy Tech- KS License Required

Ultimate Staffing Services is actively seeking a dedicated Pharmacy Technician to join their client's team in Kansas. This role is essential in supporting pharmacists in fulfilling prescriptions and ensuring the efficient operation of the pharmacy. The position requires a highly organized individual with excellent customer service skills and the ability to perform various technical tasks within the pharmacy setting.

• Assist the Pharmacist in the fulfillment of prescriptions and participate in the technical functions of pharmacy practice.
• Perform data entry, record keeping, adjudicate claims, packaging, and other tasks related to prescription fulfillment and dispensing.
• Provide telephonic customer support through both inbound and outbound calls.
• Contact physicians for refill authorizations and collect pertinent patient information.
• Assist in maintaining procedures and records in compliance with state and federal laws.
• Administer benefits and open enrollment.
• Support onboarding functions and ensure a positive HR experience with every employee.
• Address employee issues with a positive and supportive approach.
• Assist with internal and external job movement, including preparation of job postings and new hire packets.
• Update and maintain job descriptions.
• Assist with employee relations, including gathering data and assisting with investigations.
• Develop and implement HR best practices.
• Direct FMLA, ADA, and disability workers' compensation inquiries.
• Assist with inquiries related to benefits, retirement, and compensation, and route inbound questions to appropriate resources.
• Support additional HR duties as assigned by the supervisor.

• High School Diploma required
• Registered with the Kansas State Board of Pharmacy.
• 2-4 years of recent experience as a pharmacy technician in a licensed pharmacy, with Retail or Specialty Pharmacy experience.
• Demonstrated computer skills and exceptional customer service skills.
• Professional verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to maintain a clean, organized work environment.
• Capable of working independently and as part of a team.
• Detail-oriented, accurate, and efficient.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM

Competitive pay rate of $24 per hour with bonus incentives:

• $500 bonus after 90 days.
• $500 bonus after 180 days.

Candidate must have a Kansas license.
