THE IMPACT YOU WILL HAVE:

 

The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for maintaining proper internal controls while timely processing vendor invoices and ensuring they are accurately matched with purchase orders and receipts. The role involves verifying payment terms, reconciling vendor accounts and resolving vendor payment issues. The Accounts Payable Clerk reports to the Manager of Accounts Payable and is essential for ensuring smooth and timely operation of the company’s cash flow.

YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH THESE GOALS BY:

 

• Process and verify vendor invoices for indirect goods and services in accordance with established payment terms.

• Process purchase order–related invoices by performing thorough 3-way match reviews.

• Reconcile accounts payable transactions and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.

• Maintain regular, professional communication with vendors—including requesting additional information needed for invoice processing, providing requested payment details, and responding to inquiries regarding payments or discrepancies.

• Support the accuracy of vendor master data by communicating updates or changes to the appropriate teams.

• Support the resolution of invoice discrepancies.

• Review payment proposals to ensure entry accuracy and confirm that all necessary documentation is included.

• Provide timely payment deduction support to vendors within 1–2 days of payment.

• Assist with internal and third-party audits by supplying required documentation.

• Participate in special projects and assignments as needed.

THE ESSENTIALS FOR SUCESS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree or higher preferred. 
• Minimum 1-2 years Accounts Payable experience required. 
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• SAP knowledge and Excel skills a plus. 
• Occasional overtime during evening hours and/or weekends required.

The pay range for this position is $20.87 - $27.88 / Hour with the opportunity for eligible associates to earn additional compensation pursuant to the Company’s bonus plan. Exact pay will be based on factors including, but not limited to relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, level, shift, geographic location, and business and organizational needs. Full-time positions are eligible for paid time off, health, dental, vision, life and disability benefits. Part-time positions are eligible for dental, vision, life, and disability benefits.
