Position Summary
The Assistant Athletic Trainer is responsible for the care, prevention and rehabilitation of injuries for student athletes. Provide game and practice coverage.Administer treatment and provide post-surgery rehabilitation of injuries.
Instruct athletes on injury prevention.
Administer game and practice activities including taping and stretching of athletes.
Provide medical coverage of athletic games and practices. Assess injuries and give treatment.
Act as liaison to between student athlete, parents, doctors, coaches and athletic department.
Research, assess and implement injury prevention and rehabilitation techniques.
Adhere to all University, Conference and NCAA rules and regulations.
